Why your website isn't generating inquiries (and how to fix it in 5 steps)

Most websites fail for the same reasons: they don't speak to the visitor, they lack a clear next step, or nobody gets notified when a lead arrives. How to fix it in 5 steps.

I've built dozens of websites, and the problem is almost never the design or the code. It's that the page isn't built to turn visitors into inquiries. If your site is live but no one writes to you, it's usually falling into one of these traps.

1. Your website talks about you, not about the visitor's problem

The person landing on your page doesn't want your story — they want to solve something. If the headline and the first section don't name their specific problem, they're gone within three seconds.

The fix isn't more text. It's the order: the client's problem first, then your offer, then social proof.

2. There's no clear next step

A visitor with no obvious button ("Get a quote", "Check availability") does nothing. They don't decide to leave — they simply don't know what to do.

Simple rule: one page, one main action. Everything else drives toward it.

3. A form nobody sees (or that's painful)

A form hidden at the bottom of the page, or with 12 required fields, is a lost inquiry. Ask for the minimum: a name and one way to reach you.

4. Nobody gets notified when an inquiry arrives

This is the quietest one: the site can "work" perfectly while the business loses leads without knowing, because the owner checks email every three days. A simple automation — an instant alert to WhatsApp or Telegram the moment someone submits the form — changes everything.

At Gestoría JU we solved it this way: the owner now answers inquiries in minutes, not days.

5. You can't tell whether it's working

If you don't know how many people visit or which inquiries arrive, you're flying blind. A dashboard showing real-time visits and inquiries — like the one we built for Arenera Volcán — gives you control back.

The diagnosis is free

If your site is already live but isn't generating inquiries, I'll show you, using the real issues on your site, what's worth doing. No charge and no commitment: if you don't need it, I'll tell you.
